We’re happy to announce our newest Artist In Residence for Fall/Winter 2013 – French illustrator Audrey Jeanne! Minimalist and retro in style, she finds much of her inspiration in Asia and the 1950’s era. In addition to illustration work, she designs stationary, textiles, and accessories. Audrey Jeanne lives with a Siamese cat named Mikado and likes tea, strawberry pie, and handbags.
Arriving in September, the Fall Audrey Jeanne Collection is comprised of two focal prints that bring everyday household objects to life. Happy Home features a soft-beige background adorned with vintage-inspired housewares – Mid-Century modern chairs, retro radios and rotary phones, cute clocks with smiling faces, whimsical watering cans and so much more! Pictured below in Happy Home is the all-new Convertible Satchel – this spacious bag converts from a crossbody satchel to a backpack via a multifunctional adjustable/detachable strap.
The second print from this Collection is Knicknack, which features a black background covered with adorable icons – chirping birds, sleepy stars, delicious bon-bons, and Parisian postage stamps. Most styles in this print include trim with special top-stitch detailing, a subtle nod to the needle and thread illustrations on the fabric. Pictured below in Knicknack are the new Folded Purse, which does double duty as crossbody or a chic clutch (when the detachable strap is removed), and the Small Leisure Bag.
The bursts of red and blue in Knicknack inspired Tomato – the bright and happy color-blocked solid for this season. The juicy red ripstop is trimmed out in bold blue, with pops of chartreuse here and there – pictured above in the Emmi Crossbody and below in the Double Pocket Pack.

The collection also includes four special items that will send you into cuteness overload! The Frame Cosmetic in Hi Sweetie features a fanciful feline on the front panel, and a darling little bird on the back. The bespectacled Miss Coquette looks delightful on the front of our new Marche Tote, while the Betty kisslock closure teapot coin pouch serves up cupfuls of sweetness. Finally we have the Friendly House mini crossbody – this charming little zip-top cottage is full of personality with its windowpane eyes and cheeky embroidered grin.
