When we think of roller skating, memories of junior high trips to the roller rink come to mind – lacing up our skates, rolling out on the floor under the neon lights and mirror ball, hearing our favorite songs play as we circled around for hours. All of this inspired our new Roller Girl print – a vibrant mix of retro rollers and bold boomboxes swirling around in a world of bright electric colors! Like the fly outfits we remember wearing to the rink back in the day, our roller girls are rocking miniskirts and fringed shirts – along with some knee pads – safety first, ladies! Oh, and for an additional punch of pizzazz, we added a pop of purple to the underside of the black webbing straps and handles.
Since the great music is pretty much our fondest memory of the roller rink (we’ve blocked out all recollection of falling down and running into walls) – LeSportsac created the Boombox Bag. This adorable mini bag is made to resemble a colorful ghetto blaster – complete with metal studs, grommets and embroidery details. Plus it features two strap options – a short strap so you can clip it on a bigger bag (like the coordinating Roller Girls Large Weekender above) and long clip-in strap extension for when you want to wear it crossbody. It’s the perfect size for your keys, cash, cards, and phone/mp3 player filled with your favorite tunes!
New Year’s resolutions to ‘exercise more’ and ‘get fit’ are popular year after year, and LeSportsac has been around to help you tote your workout gear since the days of belt bags, neon spandex, and slouch socks!
